Certification Path
To become a PMI-CP™, you must:
- Complete four PMI course modules. Performance Excellence training program covers all four required learning modules in depth and provides exam questions, case studies, and quick mock exams to ensure you’re ready to succeed
- Have three years of professional experience in construction or the built environment within the past ten years.
- Pass the PMI-CP exam (120 questions, 230 minutes).
- Maintain the credential by earning 30 PDUs every three years.

Dr. Sami Fahmy, Ph.D, P.Eng, CCM, CP, ACP,PMP, RMP, CBC+, DASM, CSM, DTM
Dr. Fahmy has over 45 years of combined instructional and practical experience in construction and project management.
He has managed hundreds of projects of varying sizes and complexity—spanning design-build, EPC, and traditional delivery models.
As a former UofA university professor and corporate trainer, Dr. Fahmy brings deep expertise in contract administration, communication skills, and leadership in construction environments.
