Join the Young Builders Group for an exclusive behind-the-scenes tour of the Lewis Estates Recreation Centre.

This Site Series event offers a unique opportunity to step onto an active construction site, learn more about the scope and progress of this major community development, and connect with fellow industry peers in a hands-on setting.

Attendees will begin in the orientation trailer before heading out for a guided site tour.

Important Information

• Full PPE is required for all attendees (hard hat, vest, gloves, steel-toe shoes, and safety glasses)
• Due to the Oilers playoff schedule, our optional post-networking destination is still to be determined and will be shared closer to the date 😊

ABOUT THE LEWIS FARMS REC CENTRE

The Lewis Farms Facility and Park Project includes a community recreation centre, public library, and district park. The facility and park are anticipated to open to the public in fall 2028.

The Lewis Farms Facility and Park Project, located at 22103 92 Avenue NW, is proceeding with a build-to-budget approach. The project team has adjusted the project scope to focus on community programming needs. 

The facility has been designed to accommodate the following amenities:

• Aquatic facility with a 50-metre pool
• Twin arena
• Multi-purpose and studio spaces
• Fitness centre
• Double gymnasium
• Medium-sized Edmonton Public Library branch
