The FMI Emerging Managers Institute has been one of its most successful, interactive programs for more than 25 years. This program is designed to provide practical business management skills to build effective leaders for the future.

Industry demographic trends show an inevitable shortage of competent leadership to take over the next generation of construction management positions. The ELI, delivered in partnership with FMI & the ECA, is designed to provide practical business management skills to build effective leaders for the future. FMI specializes in leadership training for construction professionals and has successfully delivered this interactive program for more than 25 years.

Who Should Attend:

The Emerging Leaders Institute is designed for new leaders or those identified as having supervisory responsibilities in the future. (generally your first or second leadership position)

Examples include: 

• New or potential leaders
• Department Leaders
• Project Leaders
• Assistant Project Managers 
• Project Engineers
• Estimating 
• Field Leaders / Superintendents 

In-Person: April 27th - April 29th - ECA Learning Center

Cost: $4,400 all-inclusive reducible to ~$1,500 with the Canada- Alberta Job Grant.

Registration is all-inclusive. Your instruction, materials, and meals are all covered. When you apply for the Canada-Alberta Job Grant, the cost of the ELI is reduced to ~$1,500. Your ELI is reimbursable for up to 30 days before the training.
